The group operates through a range of entities including companies, discretionary trusts, and unit trusts, with a focus on long-term, value-driven investments and sound governance within a private group structure.

About the Role
A hands-on Finance Manager role overseeing finance, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities. You’ll manage accounting, tax and cash flow while partnering with senior stakeholders to drive financial integrity and support strategic investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management, reporting, and cash flow for group entities and trusts

• Prepare consolidated financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses

• Manage inter-entity transactions, distributions, and loan accounts across the group

• Lead tax compliance including BAS, income tax, trust distributions, Division 7A, and CGT

• Partner with external tax advisers to ensure ATO and private group governance compliance

• Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and regulatory filings (ASIC, ATO, trust deeds)

• Manage property accounting, investment tracking, and financial due diligence on acquisitions

About You

• CA/CPA qualified with 8+ years’ experience in Big-4/ mid-tier advisory (CFO advisory or private clients), family offices or investment environments

• Strong technical knowledge of Australian and international tax, trust structures, and inter-entity accounting

• Commercially astute communicator, skilled in managing complex group structures and stakeholders
