Management Accountant

We're seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to play a key role in managing and optimising a large, complex cost base within a Financial Services environment.

This is a true business partnering role, working closely with cost owners and senior stakeholders to drive cost transparency, accountability and better decision-making.

Initial 12 month MTC.

What you'll be doing

• Partnering with cost owners to manage, challenge and optimise a significant operating expense base

• Providing clear insight into cost drivers, variances and trends, turning numbers into actionable recommendations

• Leading budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting for operating expenses, including scenario analysis

• Producing management reporting and cost commentary for senior leaders

• Strengthening cost governance, controls and accountability

What we're looking for

• Proven experience managing and analysing large expense bases in a management accounting or finance business partnering role

• Minimum 3-4 years of management accounting experience required

• Strong track record working directly with cost owners and non-finance stakeholders

• Deep understanding of OPEX management, cost control and variance analysis

• Confident communicator who can challenge assumptions and influence outcomes

• Experience in regulated or complex environments
