Senior Data Leader

We have partnered with a consultancy firm who are looking for a Senior Data Leader to build out their Data, AI & Analytics practice. This is a unique opportunity to join a large, established consultancy as they expand their capability and offering within the world of analytics.

You will play a pivotal role in defining the data strategy, building and scaling high-performing teams, and developing data solutions that deliver measurable impact for clients. The ideal candidate is both a commercial and technical leader—someone who combines deep expertise in data and AI with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to win and grow business.

In this role you will

• Build and scale multidisciplinary teams across data engineering, analytics, and AI.
• Lead business development efforts, identifying and securing new client opportunities and developing strong C-suite relationships.
• Oversee delivery of complex data and AI projects that drive measurable client value.
• Provide strategic guidance on topics such as data strategy, governance, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.

You will have

• Proven experience leading and growing a data & AI function, ideally within a consultancy or professional services firm.
• Strong commercial acumen and track record in business development, including winning and delivering large-scale data engagements.
• Deep expertise in data strategy, analytics, AI/ML, and emerging technologies.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance innovation with pragmatic execution.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire both clients and teams.
